Common Faults Of Galvanometer Laser Scanner

The following table shows some common galvanometer fault phenomena and corresponding analysis. If the problem still cannot be solved, please contact us through the "Send Inquiry" below the article.

Fault phenomenon

Cause Analysis

Troubleshooting actions

1. The motor does not self-lock when the galvanometer is powered on.

1. The motor does not work

2. The power supply is damaged

3. The power switch is not on

1. Replace the galvanometer and check whether it works normally.

2. Check the power supply and wiring

2. There is no red light preview after the galvanometer is powered on.

1. Is the galvanometer powered on?

2. Is the red light controlled by software?

3. Red light damage

1. Check whether the power supply is normal

2. Turn on the red light through software settings

3. Replace the red light

3. When the galvanometer is powered on, it makes strange noises and generates heat.

1. The drive connection cable ( motor-drive ) is not connected properly.

2. The mirror is loose

3. Unstable power supply voltage interference

1. Check the connection wires between the motor and the driver as well as the external wires

2. Check whether the mirror and mirror clip are loose and whether the glue is yellowing.

3. Check the source of interference and see if the grounding is normal.

4. The galvanometer vibrates slightly when it is powered on.

1. Too much interference

2. The motor shell is connected to the ground

3. The input signal is left floating

1. Check for interference sources

2. Check whether the motor case is disconnected from the ground

3. Check the input signal (check the signal voltage of the galvanometer interface of the board)

5. The marking graphic forms a straight line

1. The galvanometer has an axis that does not swing.

1. Check whether the signal line between motor and drive board, between the marking board and the drive board are in good contact.

6. The size of the marking graphics is inconsistent with the software settings.

1. The calibration parameters are incorrect

1. Calibrate the galvanometer through software

7. The reflected power of the galvanometer mmirror is weak

1. Improper light path

1. Use a optometry film to check (without f-theta lens) whether the laser is round.

8. The marking line segment has wavy lines

Grounding problem

There are strong interference sources around

Marking control board anti-interference ability

1. Check whether the ground wire is connected properly

2. Check whether there are strong interference sources around you

3. Check the position control signal output by the marking control board

9. The galvanometer does not reflect laser light

1. The mirror wavelength is wrong

1. Check the reflection wavelength of the mirror
