One of the most important aspects of fiber lasers is that the entire optical path of the laser is fully maintained and tightly enclosed within the 0 lost full cladding fiber. Through the advanced optical fiber splicing process, all optical components based on optical fiber are combined to form a continuous optical path. This method has a huge advantage, unlike any other laser technology, there is no optical misalignment until the laser beam is output from the fiber and into the focused light path. Another related aspect is that, in principle, generating a higher average power is simple; people can easily use longer activation fibers, or additional fiber amplifier levels and more pump diodes.
