A laser is a device that uses the principle of stimulated radiation to amplify or oscillate light in certain excited substances. Light, electricity, and other methods are used to excite the material, so that some of its particles are excited to a state with higher energy. When the number of particles in this state is greater than the number of particles with lower energy, the material can A certain wavelength of optical radiation produces amplification, that is, when the optical radiation of this wavelength passes through the substance, it will emit optical radiation that is amplified in intensity and consistent with the incident wave position, frequency and direction. This device is called a laser amplifier. If the excited substance is placed in the resonant cavity, the optical radiation will reciprocate in the resonant cavity along the axial direction, and it will pass through the material multiple times. The optical radiation will be amplified many times to form a beam of laser light with high intensity and concentrated direction.
