Laser marking machine generally has the following three situations where the galvanometer needs to be replaced. One is that the galvanometer is damaged and does not want to be repaired; the second is that the galvanometer needs to be removed for maintenance and then reinstalled; the third is the galvanometer it is an old model, and if it fails to meet the requirements, it needs to be replaced with a new galvanometer.
As an important component of the laser marking machine, when the galvanometer is damaged or updated, how do we choose it? How do we communicate our needs with galvanometer suppliers?
1. Tell the supplier what type of laser you use or what material it is used for marking to determine the wavelength.
Non-metallic materials are generally marked with a laser with a wavelength of 10600nm, that is, a CO2 laser; metal materials generally use a 1064nm fiber laser; laser carving uses a 532nm green laser; and 355nm UV laser is mainly used in food and pharmaceutical packaging materials marking, micro-hole drilling, high-speed division of glass materials, and complex pattern cutting of silicon wafers.
2. How much light does your laser emit?
The spot size of the laser output * the multiple of the beam expander (if have one) should be less than or equal to the size of the incident spot of the galvanometer.
3. Similarly, tell the supplier what the laser power is.
So that the seller can choose the right lens material for you, such as K9, quartz glass, silicon, etc.
